they expect wheat based noodles to taste mushy and soft like kway teow or rice noodles. and people cooking it equally noob.. why make noodles with lye water if you are going to cook it to mush? when the noodles are cooked al dente, the singapore noob will say never cook thorougly later lao sai, i had enough listening to these noobs.. also the factory making your yellow mee is using too much lye water making it taste horrible , and if you use so much lye water to make your noodles more elastic, why do people in sg cook it till MUSH? no wonder asian foreigners see local food no up Last edited by InterestingStuff; Today at 05:55 AM.. |
