Looking to get a gaming Lappie

Member   Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 267	Looking to get a gaming Lappie Been using a Macbook Pro for the longest time but it's giving out on me and I'm not intending to go for the latest refresh. My requirements and intended usage: - Some amount of gaming (type of games I like include Mass Effect, KOTR, Doom, TitanFall etc.) - Do a fair bit of photo editing - Don't need much storage (have lots of external backup space) - Don't need to be highly portable (expecting to be 'desk-bound' 75% of the time) - Budget max $3.5K Anyone have suggestions? I see Asus, MSI, AfterShock getting mentioned quite a bit in some of the threads here, but I'm quite lost as to the options. On a side note, saw the announcement that the New Razer Blade is now retailing in SG http://ift.tt/2mrDHUC I very much like the form factor of this one but have bad experience with Razer products - due to their use of 'rubberized' material (tends to after some use and gets all sticky). I presume their laptop would have this too?
