The 22-man Loughborough University staff team clocked up 150 hours of non-stop play, stumping the previous record by 45 hours. The game began on June 24 and each innings lasted four hours.Jul 2, 2012 The Pawtucket Red Sox and the Rochester Red Wings, two teams from the Triple-A International League, played the longest game in professional baseball history. It lasted 33 innings, with 8 hours and 25 minutes of playing time. |
